Me and other young women of my family have inherited from the eldest a heavy heritage, it's about depression, maternity, womb and breast cancer, scars. I took different pictures - my sister’s thyroidectomy, my aunt and grandmother hysterectomy and my own scars- I printed them and applied them to my skin, like an apotropaic ritual. The only piece which is not a tattoo it’s an embroidered bra, made in memory of my great grandmother, who has died before I could take a picture of her scar.
