Project for a site-specific installation to be realized in a forest

It was summer, and while walking in the woods of the Dolomites Natural Park  

I took several photographs of natural formations that I call “portals”: they are branches, trees, leaves that touch each other to form sort of natural arches. 

Fascinated by these shapes and influenced by the idea of the possible existence of a Multiverse, of other intelligent beings and habitable planets,
I imagined that this doors could bring me into another world, a non-anthropic dimension, a sort of primitive world populated only by plants, or a post-anthropocene era, a leap into a future in which the earth will be freed from our cumbersome presence, a Plantacene.
